From a newsletter to the agent that hunts overnight.
Built by a real estate investor and first responder who got tired of spreadsheets and missed opportunities. What began as Deal Desk grew into Acora — institutional-grade underwriting and autonomous deal hunting for individual operators.
Acora was founded by a real estate investor and first responder who saw the same problem over and over: great deals were everywhere, but the tools to underwrite them quickly and confidently did not exist for individual investors.
It started as a simple weekly newsletter in 2023 — Deal Desk. One investor sharing real breakdowns. People thought we were crazy for the idea that you could consistently deliver high-quality, ready-to-analyze deals straight to inboxes. We did it anyway.
That newsletter grew into a platform. Today Deal Desk reaches 2,400+ subscribers, while Acora is the autonomous agent: brief your buy box, wake up to a scored feed, and underwrite any address in under 30 seconds.
What began as one person solving their own problem has become the operating system for investors who want speed, precision, and an edge without institutional gatekeepers.
Serious underwriting tools, without the institutional price tag.
Institutional investors have Bloomberg terminals and underwriting teams. Individual investors have Excel and gut instinct. Acora is the middle ground — frontier AI on real market data, with an agent that hunts while you sleep.
Started publishing weekly real estate deal breakdowns. First issue covered a Kansas City BRRRR. Grew to 2,200 subscribers across 150+ issues.
Built the first web app — address input, RentCast data pull, AI analysis. Solo-coded during night shifts.
Full SaaS rebuild: Pro and Pro Max tiers, Max IQ Consensus Engine, strategy-specific underwriting, Stripe billing.
Complete rebrand and feed-first redesign. Autonomous overnight agent, 48-metro Market Intel, pipeline, and the terminal interface built for operators.
